The really fun shows to talk about are the disasters. You can go on and on all night long about how much a production sucked.

Consequently, this is going to be a fairly short review.

The production of Greater Tuna at First Street Playhouse (click on the link for ticket info) is fabulous. The big fear with two person/20 character shows is that one character will be onstage vamping for 15 minutes while an impossible costume change is taking place offstage. This show goes like a bolt of lightning and the chemistry between the actors is formidable.

Nick Marsh is blindingly funny, especially as the youthful head of the local Humane Society (I can't give you character names; I didn't get a program).

David Belew kept reminding me of Harvey Korman, except when he was channeling Vicki Lawrence. And I mean that as the highest of compliments. His is an expert performance.

Both actors work very hard at making each of their characters an individual person and are abnormally successful at it. This is a really funny show. Go see it.
